2004 dyna accelerates strong but at even throttle going down the road i believe its the back cylinder misfiring. Also when i pulled the plugs out and grounded them the front cylinder plug fired like it should but the back cylinder fires every third or forth time compared to the front. Whats going on with that? I would apprecieate the help, thanks.

First thing to do would be to replace the plugs and plug wires

Brian has you covered. You might try putting the plug from the from into the rear wire and see how it fires, this should tell you if it is the plug or the wire.

Check the coil for arcing clean the coil towers before replacing the wires, a bit of dilectric grease will help with new wires and plugs

The plugs are new and switching plugs makes no difference still the same. I took a wire off another bike and it still does the same thing. This was done before i wrote about the problem. One thing i did not mention i changed from stock mufflers to shorter ones. I don't know the brand. Thanks for help.

Take a look to see if you have any historical codes. (WOW test)
Also how many wires do you have going to your coil. (3 or 4)
