Matt Dieckmann, a builder of electric motorcycles was killed in a crash 2 days ago. Typical cage turned left into his path of travel. Ironically, the electric motorcycle ran into a Prius.

It's so sad to hear each time a fellow biker gets hurt or killed. People need to learn to use rear view and side mirrors. When riding, if possible, best to avoid riding next to cages also.

I feel bad for his family and freinds, hopefully his work will carry on...
I also hope they prosecute to the full extent.

Now matter how much you pay attention, there is always some other driver out there doing the opposite

Truly a tragic loss to the growing Electric Bike industry, a competitive builder/inventor with such a promising future. Have to say it, our sport is a risky business to be in, and takes committment. Only those who have been in it awhile can really appreciate motorcycling as a rider or inventor...his legacy is amazing for one so young.
