Dyno Testing

Here's a few clips posted by "whacko" of what a bike is put through on a dyno to tune some of the more expensive tuners.

I echo his comments as well about not subjecting a bike to the abuse required to extract the last HP or two for a street ridden bike.

Did you see the look on the guys face operating the dyno in the second video? Wonder if that was his bike he was flogging? Doubt it!

i had a full Mustang chassis dyno at the shop. we had a standard waiver and inspection procedure before putting a car on it. cant recall how many tires blew and driveshafts came out because guys missed a weak part. i ran my own diesel truck on it a number of times, but wouldnt do it anymore. cant se the point in a street ridden bike or car. I know we made illings off the big HP diesel pickup guys.
