Maybe SirDimsdale just wanted to stir us up? Mission accomplished. Huh, that was easy. My bike and I are one when I'm out there ridin. There is nothing better than bein on a Harley with the wind in my hair ( what little I got left), ridin down a nice long winding country road. That's just a little piece of heaven right there.

You said it right there Tramp! I am thinking of all of the great rides that I have taken this past Spring, Summer & Fall and I am so looking forward to the Spring of 2011!
I am afraid that it will be a long, long Winter!

+1 on that.... that was me, yesterday afternoon...
...fired it up and both my neighbor's heads turned up from raking leaves..
...something about banking into a turn with your peg/floorboard 1/2 inch from the road and the V-twin at about 3K that makes it all melt away..

I would never now or in the future own any bike but a Harley. Modern Harleys are as good or better than any other brand of bike.
I love my Heritage dearly. Almost to the point of questioning my sanity sometimes. For instance, I apologize to her as I walk through the garage if I haven't got to ride in a couple of days.
To read some threads on any HD related forum you might begin to think Harleys are garbage. All forums are like that. I am or have recently been a member of a Jeep Liberty, Suzuki SX4 (mini suv), VW New Beetle and Ford Escort forum. To read these daily you would think all of these vehicles should be recalled on numerous items. Maybe simply pulled from the road. Truth is the only one's that write are the few who have issues. The majority that have no problems also do no writing.

I wouldn't say they are the best bikes in the world.
What I would say, is other marques do not have a soul like a Harley. My Street Bob jumps and shakes about like an excited dog ready to go for a walk whilst it is warming up :cheers - I love it.
