say im at 55mph & i want to pass or trying to get to a top gear it acts up as i said before it starts & idles fine ive tried easing the throttle & gunning it it acts up both ways

drained gas tank put in new feul cleaned carb , put new hotter plugs in not sure what to check next

what did you clean in the carb? Did you re-adjust any thing? Take the carb completly off the scoot or do a "Gum-out" spray clean. How long has this been going on --- sitting for awhile,does it need some F.I. / carb. cleaner put into the tank maybe some dry-gas adder?????

If the carb is really bad (like mine was) I pulled some strings with one of the auto shops in the area and had mine soaked in the commercial carb cleaner for a day. No problems since.

i took carb off cleaned float bowl didnt do anything inside its been acting up since begining of july.maybe i will try the local shops around here to see if i can get the treatment like you did thanx for another idea
