do i need to tune my bike.

I installed v&h strait shot slip on exhaust and a screaming eagle stage 1 intake on my 2007 sportster 1200.i also have a screaming eagle super tuner they sold me at Harley I haven't opened yet.b4 I open it and make it unreturnable($400)does my bike need to be tuned?its not backfiring.how mush horsepower are we talking about adding with these upgrades and potentially with the sest?thank you

I can't tell you that it will add HP, but I can almost guarantee that you are running very lean. Before I hooked up the super tuner and I would look into the Dobecks units offered here on the forum. Forum members get a discount.
