Difference between 74718-07 and -09

I own a '09 Fat Bob and am partial to the Spun Aluminum Speedo/Tach Combo. Unfortunately Harley discontinued the style that I like but I recently found one under part number 74718-07. The Harley catalog list the one for my bike as 74718-09. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Will the -07 work on my bike or will I loose some functionality or does it not have all the functionality as the -09 at all? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The only difference I can see is the -07 fits only that year, and the -09 fits 09 and later. I'm wondering if someone might have access to the service manuals for the two years and see if the connectors are different in any way?
