Detachable sissy bar

I was wanting to buy the detachable sissy bar for my "06 FATBOY. It looks like I will need to relocate mt rear turn signals. Is this correct?

I have a 2007 Fatboy with the detachable sissy bar and I did have to relocate my rear turn signals. Initially I purchased the kit with the intention of installing myself. However, when I opened the package and read where I had to remove the rear wheel, I neatly repackaged the contents and took it to my local indy shop (who does all the work on my bike) and had them install the relocation kit.

If you decide to do it yourself, good luck!!

Het, I've done the detachable sissy bar on my '02 softail standard and it was pretty easy but after everything was paid for( relocation kit, backrest pad, sissy bar uprights) it ran over 3 bills. I come to find that I never take it off and prob. would have been better of buy the non-detatchable ones
