i want to turn my bags and sissybar into detachables, to be able to strip the bike down for in town riding.
i went to a dealer, and they were not to helpful
they showed me the side brackets for the sissybar and mounting hardware, and suggested Barebacks. the only thing i didnt like about it was for the sissybar, i would have to change the signal brackets, to a thinner one. i like the beefer looking, but oh well
he showed me if i use the barebacks on top of the mounting hardware, my bags would stick out about an 1-1/2"
does anybody know of a better way?
different type of hardware other than HD and barebacks?
