Seems like too many dealerships (motorcycle or automobile) want the vehicle in their posession, well before work is scheduled to begin......
I'd like to pretend that is because they hope to get to work on the bike earlier than scheduled.....
I'm lucky..... the one dealer around here, that wants the bike days, or weeks earlier, is the dealership, I will never use. The other dealerships, will set up a date, and time for you. You can drop the bike off, and either wait.... or comeback. 90% of the time it's just as easy to wait.... or at least hang out in the area.
