Once it cools off i will get out there and check it out. I havent ever close the mixture screw hard enough to damage the end, or at least i dont think i have. there have been a few times i said some choice words while burning my hands and arms trying to adjust it. may have bumped it too hard when i jerked!!
maybe i need to go back to the 45 pilot jet?
Well armed with my welding gloves and a towel and went out and pulled the mixture screw out and after looking at it thru a magnifying glass i can not see that it is damaged at all. Sharp enough to draw blood quickly if i wanted too. Once it gets completely cooled i think i will go back to the 45 pilot and 1 washer and see what happens then.
