I did the WOW test and under P I got P0131.P0151,P1003,P0572 and PN#32933-08
    Under SP I got U1300.U1301 and PN# 67349-08. Under b I got C1095,C1214 and
PN# 40601-08. I did not mention earlier that I have a Cobra Fi2000R on my dresser,
but now I am thinking maybe that the Cobra has gone bad.

You may want to record all those codes, clear them and ride the bike for a bit.
See what comes back. C1095,, C1214 would cause cruise control from not working.
Clear the codes using the same link.

Hoop when you say record the codes do you mean write them down ? Is there a way (or non expensive code reader) to record codes where you can transfer them to a computer or printout ?

Yep, the old fashion way. On a piece of paper.

Make sure that the set/accel and decel switch lines make it to the cruise control unit. Also, make sure that the throttle line cancel switch and the two brake switches open (as seen by the cruise control unit). There is also a cancel line from the ECU for when the dictated speed and actual speeds are too far different (Maybe this function is handled by the cruise unit, so the associated signal line would be from the vehicle speed sensor. I don't remember). If any of the cancel lines are active, or the cruise control unit does not see vehicle motion, she will not set cruise.

    Enjoy,
