no throttle stop is installed, when the cruise is off and the throttle is rotated to full throttle then release it snaps right back to the idle postion. With the cruise engaged I do feel binding when I physically roll the throttle to the idle position. Also when I disengage the cruise it just remains at the current setting and will not roll down by it's self..
