Cruise Control Problem

I have an '01 Ultra Classic. The cruise has stopped working. I have tried the initialization process to no avail. The speedometer "C" will not light while doing this. I tried to pull out the codes, but there appears to be no codes stored. The light comes on but doesn't flash. At this point I am at a lost. Can anyone help me diagnose my cruise problem, other than taking it to the dealer?

have you checked all the fuses,pulled the switch apart to check there?

Could be a cable lash problem that is causing it.

Have you tried to adjust the cable and then initialize it again?

Also there's diags for the cruise too.

Did you do the "Cable Lash initialization ?...I had the same problem..but i had to adjust my cables first...then do the lash ...mine stated out by setting then releasing itself....sometime would go a long time then shorter time was different then not setting at all...also one time ..my rear brake switch stuck just enough it would not set..and once when i was riding in a down pour it would not set till it dried out a couple of days.

Did you check the obvious? Brake light out?
Make sure the connections on the roll off switch are tight.
