cruise control light

Hi I am new to the forum i have searched and could not find anything on this.I have a 02 Ultra Classic.My cruise control works fine just like it should all the time it is the light on the dash sometimes it comes on when you engage the cruise and sometimes it does not.sometimes it goes out while cruising and sometimes it comes back on no ryme nor reason when or why any suggestions before i tear into the dash could be a loose bulb i suppose.

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere.

Welcome to the forum Big Bubba. I agreee it's probably a loose connection. I'm not positive, but I think all lights in your 4" gauges are led's that are part of the wiring harness, and not serviceable. I know the '07's are that way.

Does the cruise drop out when the light goes out?

no the cruise never drops out on its own the cruise works normal except for the light
