cranksensor

is it hard to change a cranksensor on a 98 roadking classic i am wanting
to do it myself.

What conditions make you think you need to change it?

Not hard. Right up there on the bow of the engine almost under but to the left of the oil filter. Trace the wire for routing.

TQ

Melted! From what? Not questioning whether you should replace it if it looks damaged in any way, but where is that much heat coming from? Make sure you figure that out so you are not ordering another sensor soon!!

TQ

yeah i will trace all my wires back and check them its looks melted and also looks like
its rubbing against something but there is nothing close to it to cause rubbing?
