Crane Cams

    I have heard that Crane Cams in Daytona Bch, FL has gone out of business. The local news there said that every one as been laid off and the doors shut. I love their cams. Fossil

    WOW!!!! If that's correct, there's an old well respected manufacturer gone.
    Too Bad.

    Actually, they are restructuring with intentions of reopening in March. Here's an article about it.

    I heard the same thing from one of my vendors who deals in that sorta thing.

    The 2 car motors I built were happily built with Crane Cams and they spanked sooo many cars!!! Ah, the old days cruising for races.....

    Yeah, I'm married with a kid and I developed a disease called a conscience. :cry:cry I had an 83 Firebird with a 383 sroker, and an 86 Monte Carlo SS with a 400 small block.

    Now, I just cruise....

    Certainly hope that they can pull it togather, as their products have been the cornerstone of many performance engines for decades.
    Great products, as well as customer service.:)

    Don't worry, S&S bought the motorcycle part of Crane & moved it to Viola.
    We can still get all the Crane bike products we need.
