Cop count

Retired from Chenango County Sheriff's Office after 24 years.

One of my favorite lines when confronted with a smart mouth kid was to proudly state that I served my country for 4 years and my community for 25 Then ask him, What, other than yourself, have you served ?

Usually made them think long enough to reduce the tension and calm things down.

My kid brother is a Detective, retired but back working part time Washington County Sheriffs dept. Stillwater MN. He rides brand X motorcycle but I do not hold it against him, I would like to thank all who have served to keep us all safe:s

Sgt. King County Sheriff's Office (Seattle, WA) 14 years and counting
Deputy Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (Phoenix, AZ) 9 years
Stay Safe out there!

Kind of a glut for punishment. Fire since 1987, Police since 1994. About 30 more months to the retirement check starts coming!!!

Excellent response and speaking (may I?) for the group, we really appreciate being able to serve our communities. Of course, we work to pay for our HD habits...lol.

South Bend, Indiana Police Department...coming up on 25 years. Thanks for all the kind words regarding law Enforcement Officers.....much appreciated.
