Cool wood carving

    Went to my uncles in PA for a wedding.He comisioned an artist to cut an eagle out of a tree he had in his back yard.The guy did this with a chainsaw.I was amazed.

    He wouldnt tell me what he payed.He said he mentioned "when you have absolutely NOTHING going on" give me a call.I know my uncle..He's cheep!

    Thats where the term "starving artist" came from.In this economy artists truely are starving.

    I live in PA in Delaware County and I see a few of these around. I wonder if it's the same person doing them. Very cool work.

    Now that is just plain COOL. I have stopped to watch a guy doing this on the road side then selling his work. It's interesting how they have the patients and tallent to do this.

    That takes talent I can only dream of.
    After Katrina hit the coast some of the old Live Oaks were destroyed. This is what became of them.
