Convert E-Glide to RK

What, exactly, are you looking to change? Remove the batwing and use a windshield instead? Switch to leather saddlebags?
If you've absolutely got your heart set on a RK and can't afford a new bike, there still should be plenty of good deals on low miles, well maintained use bikes no matter where you live.

If thats what you truely want to do Im sure you could find more than one Road king owner wanting the batwing.Try posting a front end swap in a local listing.If you have tunes you could probably get cash as well.
Some parts that come to mind depending on how far you want to go to make it look right are tank,tank dash (console) main wiring harness is different,nacelle wiring harness,nacelle,riser cover,handlebar lock,windshield w/ mounting points,speedometer with instrument (idiot) lights. You're looking at a costly change here, may be easier to trade for a RK
This is a very valid point to consider. When you sink the time and money into significantly modifying a bike into something quite different than how it began its life, you have created a motorcycle that may fit all of your needs and desires but now it is a totally unique bike. Resale market for such unique, modified bikes is much smaller than trying to sell a pretty generic Harley with mostly comfort and bling mods.
Not a big factor if you intend to keep the bike forever. Something to think seriously about if you expect to turn around and sell/trade the bike in the near future.
