I like to be able to do my own maintenance on my bike and I'm wondering if buying one of those Condor Pit-Stop's are worth it or should I invest in a jack? How do any of you keep your bike stable while working on it?

I would get a lift if your gonna be doing your own maintenance. They're very handy to have. They're also nice for cleaning. The first time you take off your own tire and take the tires and wheel in to have the swapped out the lift will pay for its self. I've seen dealers charge up to 80 bucks to change a back tire when it's on the bike:newsmile055: it's 10 bucks where I take mine to get them mounted and balanced off the bike.:D

have a look here at some of the lifts listed in the self help section.

I have a HF condor thing,I like it $70 I also have the yellow alluminum Jack from Craftsman $180,I like it cause it is much lighter and the smaller wheels run under my Ultra and I can mount it on the jack myself.
