anything gore tex will be windproof and waterproof, but no insulation value at all. Stopping the wind and water will be warmer, bass pro shops has g/t bibs that are a heavier cordura material which may/may not melt, I would lean towards they will if on the pipes long enough. If you ride alot during inclement weather, suggest aerostitch pants, a heavy cordura material with reflective material as well. Jackets are good as well, have both, will stay warmer and defintely dry, just need to layer up under these, big $$ but if you ride alot they are worth the $$
