After removing outer fairing & doing the wire cut movement for having spots on w/ high beams on same time. I also installed a plug for future GPS, from the unused hot & ground by headlight plug. when reassembled bike to check my work. i noticed my engine lite relighting telling me i had codes. so i checked. i got a P1511 & P2101. Throttle actuator control power management failure of throttle control actuator & Throttle actuator control motor circuit range/performance error' I was able to clear codes & what i did worked i now can turn on hi w/ spots. Question is has this happened to anyone else after doing this electrical change. & should i worry i did not disconnect battery. i did pull ign key chrome knob.

I used this plan Passing Lamps ON Wiith High Beam - Harley Davidson Community and did not have to open the fairing just took out the ignition switch and take off dash/switch panel worked good no issues.
Ill be keeping an eye on engine light. went for a ride codes did not reappear. just wondering w/ caused my codes. 1 cut orange wire, i did turn my ign switch w/ screwdriver in several directions to align key shaft lower & upper paddles when putting back together.
