Clutch Lock Nut

glider.

BOT Machine
I've seen a few people having a problem with loosening the lock nut when trying to adjust the clutch without the entire clutch basket turning.

There's an easy way to get around this....
Put the bike in gear and have someone sit on the brakes also if needed. It stops the rotation of the clutch basket and the nut breaks loose very easily then.

To losen the nut put it it gear as others have said.
Then put a good 11/16 socket on it with a good ratchet hold head in place with one hand and strike the end of ratchet with the palm of your hand frimly it will come lose with no movement of the bike. works first time every time.

Same as Smitty with the use of a "Dogbone" six-point wrench... it gives enough distance to clear everything & still keep the wrench on square...
