I just installed bullet turn signals on a '96 FLSTC: pretty much an unplug the old pancake lights, and plug in the new bullet lights.
However, with all wires/plugs in the correct place IAW the service manual wiring diagram, the 15 amp "Lighting" relay continually cycles on and off when the ignition switch is turned on. The relay will not cycle when the turn signal plug (#31- where the front turn signals plug in) is disconnected. This led me to believe the problem was with the front signals, but all continuity checks are good.
The bike still turns over & all lights (even turn signals) work even with the relay cycling.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?
