I'm looking at putting on a chrome Starter on my bike. Are Spyke any different than the rest. (worth the money) I had talked to A spyke rep at J&P a couple of years ago. They had said you can use a Dyna on my bike. But you have to grind some material off the bottom of the casting.

My bike is 1991 FLHS Motor is .10 over, Mikuni HSR42, Andrews EV-13, Vance & Hines Pro Pipe HS 2 in 1, Dyna 2Ki-5P, and also working on putting Screaming Eagle heads on

    Any suggestions ????

How about talking your starter apart, than take the body to a chrome shop. Use a camara to take pic's as you disasemble it. Or if a local shop can do the tear down for you. May be a way to save money and be sure the starter fits when done.
