Chrome Lower Sliders

I am considering Chrome Fork sliders. I've seen some places that take oem's and chrome them and you exchange your stock ones for the ones they sell you. What do people recommend, Go with the chrome plated reworked OEM's or buy the 'As manufacured' ones from HD?

I would buy new sliders from HD and sell the ones on the bike now.

Stick with the new ones from the factory. I installed a used and chromed set and found that the pocket for the oil seal on one was damaged and it leaked. I ended up having to do the whole job twice.

Installed OEM HD sliders as suggested. Excellent suggestion. I am very pleased with the results.

Chrome = Less riding time, less money, and more pampering IMO.
