Chrome Covers

Can anyone tell me why the chrome covers (HD part 66508-00) engine/trany interface cover & (HD part66510-00) engine/trany top cover won't fit with a hydrauic clutch when it dosen't cover the hydrauic hose. I just like the look of these on a grey motor.:eam

Fits '00-'06 Softail® models (except FLSTS and FLSTSC). Does not fit with Braided Stainless Steel Oil Lines or Hydraulic Clutch. Can be installed with or without complementing Top Cover P/N 66510-00.

I just re read your post. I dont know why the parts wont fit other than HD says they dont fit.

Maybe some else has answers

Yep they fit, just got all three covers and they look real nice, fit nice and cover that big grey area around the trans well.:lolrolling Couldn't more pleased.
