Check Engine Light comes on then goes off. Loose power to speedometer and odometer..

I just got my wifes 09 sportster back from the shop yesterday, she was losing the speedo and the odometer wouldn't record mileage. This happened 3 different times. They told me there was water in the speed sensor connection causing it to short.

It could be a problem on earlier EFI models also.
