changing stator

I'm gonna change the stator on a 1996 1200c sporster . This calls for a 22 amp stator . I changed he regulator to see if that would fix the charging problem . it didn't . and yes the battery is good , less than 2 months old .I'm seeing a lot of different staors selling from $50 to $110 . Any recommendations on which to buy?

Rather than spending your hard earned money, do a little trouble shooting first... See the self-help section & confirm that is your problem. Then if you still need a stator, I like the H-D stators & also the ones from "Cycle Electric"... They have a complete web-site with dealers listed... Good luck
