Changing Oil Rear Air Shocks

I just changed the oil in my air shocks on my '09 Road Glide from the 5 weight to 10. I still would like a little better ride, has anyone tried 15 weight?

I know but between my wife and I we put a lot of weight on the bike, I still have to to put 40 pounds of air in the shocks and then it still will bottom out just on freeway dips. I have heard that the valves in the '09 shocks are smaller and my not handle the 15 weight any thoughts?

Adding a higher viscosity oil will not support more weight, it just restricts the shock movement more giving a harsher ride. You may be better off getting a different set of shocks like progressive shocks. They can tailor the spring rates to your needs and they are adjustable too for 1 up and 2 up.
