I agree something that is good for all three cant be the best for just one.
I use mobil1 in engine ,50wt syn trans oil (chevron) ,and use syn three in primary.

I choose not to use Syn3 because it is ultimately manufactured by CITGO which is the company of Hugo Chavez, who has a very anti-US agenda...and ferments unrest in all of Latin America. That is why I only use 85W Gear Oil in the tranny-primary-clutch hole on my Sporty...in the engine hole I use 100% Synthetic, currently Lucas 20W-50 Racing Oil suitable for HD V-Twins at $6.99 at O'Rilleys/Kragen Auto Supply, though I am going to switch to Mobil I V-Twin 20W-50 for $8.97 from WalMart (it is carrying it now that they are converting to a "superstore"...
