Castrol 20w-50 dino

I'd like to hear from anyone using regular 20w-50 castrol oil in their bike. how long, how many miles, etc. I'm going to start using it and want to know how others who use it like it.

I have used regular 20/50 Castrol GTX in my "92 Dyna since new. The front exhaust lifter beat it's bearings out at 40K miles (.530 lift cam). Not an uncommon problem, and I don't think the oil was to blame. Otherwise, no problems at +65K miles.
I use only Mobil1 VTwin 20/50 in my 2007 Electraglide.
I can't explain my logic beyond knowing that the '07 inj. is a lot hotter/leaner running engine.

Mobil 1 here...that trying to save a few $$$ has no logic.

Ran it in my 1980 Yammy 850 for 48 k with no problems or usage. But it didn't run as hot as the Harleys today do. Mobil 1 or another good full synthetic is the way to go.
