Cast Alum Wheels care

Hey everybody,
I just bought an 09 Super Glide with cast alum spoke wheels. I want to protect the aluminum against corrosion and pitting. The manual says to use Harley Gloss. Any other recommendations?

Thanks for the scare. I intend to keep them protected. The Harley manual says to spray Harley Clear on them. I don't trust that's enough. Especially after using Harley spray polish on the new black paint which did nothing but smear. I had to wash it off.
It looks like aftermarket products are the way to go.
