I see that the 2 threads on the Casey Anthony trial have been closed because it isn't what a moderator wanted to talk about. What about the rest of us? This is the general off topic section of the forum! Maybe everythread that does not discuss HD's and riding should be closed also!!! JMHO

It wasn't just that a mod didn't want to talk about a different subject. The subject was too controversial and was degenerating into too many political statements and there was disrespect towards other forum members starting to surface also.

We have tried political and religious subforums in the past and they just don't stay civilized enough for the high standards of this forum.

If you want to talk about those kinds of topics, there are hundreds of other forums available on the internet.

Maybe it would be easier to just remove people that seem to want to have their own way on a private forum?
Please don't forget that you are a guest here and if discussing politics or religion is that important to you, there are other forums that will cater to your needs.

When a thread is closed as it was in this case, there is on obligation on the moderators part to explain why that thread was closed.
