I have a Kodak Dig camera and was thinking of taking a tri pod and cutting it off and making a camera mount, I have a forge and anvil's and all the stuff to do the modifing, I was wondering if any of you have made you a cam mount and how do you have it mounted on the bike.. Thanks in Advance.

There are a number of mounting options for getting cameras on bikes.
I use a RAM mount that includes a rubberized ball and extension arm mounted on the bars. Photos usually turn out okay, if you are trying video, vibration may be a problem.

I use this one the kids bought me.

I just wrap it around the mirror and handle bars. Took tons of pics and video while in Sturgis. Camera will vibrate at idle though. Think they got it at Wallymart or Radio Shack.

Just curious as to what kind of camera you have mounted on your bike. I got a RAM mount a year or so ago and my smaller Sony does okay, but the larger, high end point-and-shoot Sony's have gotten shaken up and won't take quality photographs any more.
