Cam chain tensioner on 09's.

What exactly did HD do to resolve the cam chain tensioner issue? Do I still need to monitor them with an 09 Ultra?

Shouldn't be a problem with the new setup. It is hydraulically operated from engine oil pressure and shouldn't be a problem now like the previous ones.

so the tensioners on the 09's are different than the ones on the 07's and 08's?

The new 96 engines have the new and improved tensioner system.

07 08 all have the new style and you are supposed to be able to fit the new style to the older 88's
