Brake Squeal

Don't mean to reopen a stale thread butt....
My mechanic advised me to stop squeaking and pulsing brakes was to cleanup the caliper and pads real good, lightly sand the Pads, and use a scotch brite pad (the green scouring pad) on the rotor surface. This did work for me. Hope it helps someone else trying to save a few $$ and can do minor wrenching them selves.

I advise using quality brake pads to also cure squealing brakes.

Brake squeal is most often a harmonic, caused by loose pads. By that I mean not any coating between the pad and piston and or lose and under lubricated hardware
