Brake light

I have a 2003 Ultra Classic. The brake light is not working. The tail light is on, the brake lights on the trunk are working. I have changed the bulb, without result. Anyone have any ideas.

If the brake lights on the trunk are working, take the taillight assembly apart and check the wiring and socket there
