I am looking for any info on Bolt size, length and thread especially around engine and transmission (but bolt sizes from anywhere on the bike are good). I rebuilding a FXSTC, I started with just a frame. I have the service and parts manual but they only give HD part#'s. If anyone has this info I would sure appreciate it.

I would just order the correct parts from an online part supplier that gives 20% off. That way you know you have the correct part. Jenni @ Tri-County H-D gives great service.

I think you have the same as me; All cover bolts allen heads with UNC threads. Don't know the sizes off the top of my head, and the lengths are varying depending on case depths.
As recommended, get a kit from Colony for your applicaon. S/s are the coolest, but chrome is nice too (and less expensive), IMO.
