Black Air Cleaner Trim Ring, for 2007+? I can't find...

Anyone know where one can get replacement trim rings, in different colours?

I have an 09 Road Glide, whose trim ring is the 07+ bland goldish colour.

I really want a black one (like the FLHT has).

I can't find one, from HD directly, or aftermarket. All that exists is a Screaming Eagle one with orange lettering, but that's not to my tastes.


I'd actually even dig a black POLICE one (they are black in colour), but haven't a clue how to order one?

Any ideas, suggestions?

I can take off my original, and paint it, but it won't have the lettering on it, that I feel give it some nice contrast, instead of just a plain black ring.

Here's hoping someone has an idea!

This is very true, but I don't dig the zig-zaggy orange lettering. Otherwise, yes, I'd have gone this route.

other than that havent seen them in black other than police..

There's several on ebay, all have s.e. on them, but at less than $10 you could paint it and maybe have it lettered like you want.
