Bike Cover

Used to be a product called golden rod to assorb moisture:p

If it is the same "golden rod" I am thinking of, I don't think it would work well on a bike with a cover, but maybe I am wrong. The golden rod that you plug in to use, in say a gun cabinet, doesn't absorb water from the air, it raises the dew point of a confined space to prevent the water from condensing on the metal. I don't think is would make that much difference in a garage with a loose cover over a bike. "DampRid" would probably work better, but you would need to make the cover pretty tight to the ground to make a good seal. And if the cover "breathes", that is probably going to be a lot of "DampRid" if you live where it is humid.
