biggest ride out you have been in.

The wooten bassett "help for hero's" run,I think there was around 15,000 bikes of all kinds,on that one.very moving occasion.

Two things,, first, everyone has fun at these rides. I think some of the crowd might even get the idea of going out to buy a bike with all the excitement. And of course the riders always enjoy these events. Second,, I noticed how crowded the riders were at times, some even three across which makes for a bad accident to happen. I don't participate in these rides anymore, not knowing how habits of the drivers around me. JMO.

+1

I was in a ride once going to a rally. The key word once. I have never been so concerned for my own safety.

2005 Trail of tears commemorative ride (section 2; Chattanoogha TN to Waterloo, AL), estimated amount of motorcycles entering Waterloo, AL was approximately 200,000.

Around 200 miles (give or take 20) from start to finish (for the second leg). When the first biikes started arriving in Waterloo, the last of the bikes were leaving Chattanoogha.

It was a good time.

For me the largest ride was the Miracal Ride for Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis Indiana. When I attended the staging area was at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Bikers have raised tons of Money for the kids. Ironically I still got a ticket for parking my Harley in their Hospital Parking Garage.

I've done that one.

Also, locally each year, sponsered in part by ABATE is The Ride for The Troops. Last year, the weather was perfect, they estimated by rides end there were somewhere around 2200-2500 bikes, althouth the "official count" was about 2100. It is a fully police escorted 40-50 mile loop through 4 counties, 3 cities. Its pretty sweet, along the roadways in the towns it goes through are scores of people standing outside waving flags and cheering everyone on.

Large group riding takes a lot of skill and patience IMO:s

For me it is The Big Texas Toy Run. It is an annual toy run that starts from 2 locations, downtown Ft. Worth and downtown Dallas then meets up in Arlington to drop off the toys. I've done this since 2006. The attendance can be as high as 80,000 bikes. Last year it was 60,000.

The Big Texas Toy Run

They do a great job blocking off the roads for us. It is amazing just how many bikes show up. Last year I was in the middle of the pack coming out of Dallas. When I got to Arlington I parked, had to walk about a 1/4 mile to drop off my toys, walked back to my scoot and there were still bikes coming in.

At the staging areas you get to see all kinds of bikes. Not to mention all kinds of people.
