belt change out on a 2006 883r

I broke the belt drive on my sportster its has 136 teeth. I would sometime in the distant future like to bump it to a 1200 and change the front pully to a 29 or 30 . Should I replace the belt with a 137 tooth belt? Will it fit now or be too big?

Just change the belt with the stock one...your already going to be in there, and it will give you insight into the change when you finally decide to do the 1200 mod.
