Hello my fellow Iron Horsemen and women,
Hard to believe it's been almost forty years since I bought my first chopper. Time flies when you're having fun, right? Since then, I've had just about every style bike there is at one time or the other.
My latest is a 1997 Harley 883. Hopefully, I'll be able to post some photo's of it here, so you can see what all has been done to it. It's got an S&S carb., Buell Lightening heads, Python pipes (that sound fantastic) and forward controls. The tank, tins, frontend, handlebars, lighting and gauges are all off a 1997 Heritage Softail.
I've had lifetime bikers walk around it and not notice it's not what it appears to be. It sits really low and it's more than fast enough to kill myself on. I know alot of you don't care for the 883's, but if you could ride this one, it might change your opinion.
Don't forget to put your kickstand down,
Bill
