    Hello everyone,
So I want to paint my rocker boxes on my 04 1200r black.
I picked up some rattle can bbq paint. It says it can withstand up to 1200 degrees F
Does anyone have experience with using this paint?
might sound dumb, but I'm not really sure how hot my engine gets, will it be able to withstand the heat without discoloration?
    Any advice helps!
    Thanks!:D

Doesn't get anywhere near that hot, a good high-temp engine paint will do. I painted the wifes 86 XLH with regular flat black and it's holding up just fine, just be shure to clean and prep it good and you should have no issues. :newsmile036:
