I recently bought the chrome mirror covers for my inner fairing mounted mirrors. I liked the fact that the turn signals are incorporated into the mirror design which, coming from a safety point of view, ought to let those in traffic see more clearly what my intentions are when I signal to turn. Being fairly high on the mirror they should be more visible. When they arrived I noticed that the chrome shroud covers a lot more of the mirror than I prefer which limits my visibility by at least as much as 50% it seems. That can't be good. So, on one hand I like the fact that other drivers can see which direction I am turning in more easily but on the other hand I don't want to be limited with a "tunnel vision" perspective of my surroundings!
Does anyone have those mirrors on their bikes? Are there any problems that you have encountered? Thanks for any input.
