Any one have Experiance with Bassani?

Title pretty much says it all thinking of new slip ons this winter heard a set and though they sounded pretty good

maybe the FLH-517 or 517L

The 517 is the one they list for stock displacement,good looking mufflers

the only diff between the 2 is one is a shorter body from what i understand

The way I read it is the 517L is a short core muffler,meaning it can handle a higher displacement engine,maybe I am wrong.

i see what your saying one says stock other says 95 and up well i got the 96 it should count

The shorter core will produce less back pressure,if your not planning on a 103 upgrade I would stick to the 517 JMO

I sent Bassani a email to see what they recommend but im thinking your right on the core

09 ultra, I had them put bassani FLH-517 on before I rode the new bike home,
They are much louder than stock, I have enjoyed them for 2K miles without any complaints.. Price was better than the others.. Im pleased.. --Chino
