I have an 04 FLHTCU and bought it with a SuperTrapp 2 into 1 system. It's a bit louder than I'd like and I know I can take a disc or so out to quiet it down. What I'd really like to do is swap it out for a true dual exhaust. Here are my questions.

What true dual is a good system for the $?
Is my current system worth anything used?
Would Ebay be a logical site to sell it?

I don't have a TD on my 09 RG, but others can chime in.

Do a search on eBay and see what others might be selling used systems for. Shipping is a big cost, so see if there are any local buyers.

Yes, eBay is one choice. Add it to this site "for sale" section. Also, maybe when out at bike nights, put a little sign on your bike stating the exhaust is for sale. Good luck!
 
There are numerous options as far as tru duals .Its really a matter of how deep are the pocketsI have rineharts and love them.Some will say Vance and Hines .Need to go listen to the different sounds and make your own decision.
 
how much ya wanna spend and sound your looking for on the TD ..

yes ebay would be best place to sell it most likely
