American Tourister not waterproof...

My wife bought a comforter it came in a large vinyl plastic bag with a zipper, I use it to put my bag in on the lugage rack and every thing stays dry.
 
I've seen the commercials and wondered if those bags would be good for a motorcycle trip. Your brother has convinced me, I'm buying some of those today. Figure you could probably pack more stuff on the bike using these as well. Pack the clothes in those bags, put them in the luggage, wrap luggage in heavy garbage bag, I'm on the road!!

Just remember to NOT open the vac. bag unless you have a vac. handy. :newsmile055:
I put t shirts and sox in gallon zip lock bags, then roll them real tight to push the air out & zip closed. Kind of a low tech vac. bag, it saves a little space.
